Adventures on the South Shore. Went for an exploring trip along Staten Island’s Southern Shore.

First was one I’ve never seen - a tugboat graveyard. It was pretty cool although our view of the decaying tugs was obscured by weeds and large fences.

Second we went down to Sharrotts to the “rock sculptures” [see picture for a tiny example]. Always interesting - I lost my keys amongst the sand, rocks, and shells and realized a quarter mile later (fun trying to find those on the way back!).

Lastly we headed down to Nicolosi to look at the fancy houses (castles and rotating rooms and decadence).
On our way back my car was viciously attacked by a large rock sitting in the road. So now I wait for my tire to get changed.

Adventures.
